As the temperatures start to drop each winter, we host a coat drive on the patio of Café Hollander Downer to benefit a local community organization, and this marks our 4th year!

For any gently used coat or cold weather gear you donate, we’ll give you a cup of chili, a Lowlands Brewing Collaborative bier, and coffee from Stone Creek Coffee down the block! So dig through your closet and find those coats that you haven’t worn in years or the one that just doesn’t quite fit right anymore and bring ’em to Café Hollander on Downer November 16th from 10 AM – 3 PM!

This year, we are again partnering to benefit Sojourner Family Peace Center, an organization that brings crucial services to families affected by domestic violence. They the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin, serving over 9,500 clients each year right here in our community. Donating coats and cold weather gear helps them to ensure that families in need can stay warm in the winter.
