24 Jul Lowlands Locals Bierfest
Celebrate the launch of our latest collaboration, Lowlands Locals!
We asked five local breweries to craft unique biers to serve in our area grand cafés. Meet these brewers and taste their five amazing biers in a personal and intimate setting at Café Centraal.
But wait, there’s more!
Joining us for the evening is none other than Jef Versele, owner of Brouwerij Van Steenberge in Ertvelde Belgium, and long time collaborator in the Lowlands Brewing Collaboration. Come meet this larger-than-life Belgian while mingling with Milwaukee’s Brewminati.
Sound like your kind of party? We thought so. Get your tickets here before they sell out.
Space for this intimate event is limited and tickets are just $30, which includes:
- At least 8 healthy bier samples (There are rumors of some surprises…)
- Snacks and apps for days
- A raffle for some sweet prizes
Featured biers include:
All brewed within 5 miles of a Lowlands Grand Café.
Good City Brewing – Good City Sehr Gut Helles 4.8%
A laid-back brew inspired by Milwaukee’s proud German Heritage and its historic East Side. A shared belief in the power of good bier, good food, and good company to transform neighborhoods emanates from this bright, crisp Helles Lager.
Third Space Brewing – Happy Place Citra 5.3%
This refreshing ale represents two companies who share a common goal: to give our guests a cozy space in which to enjoy great bier and great company. For this brew, our friends took their signature Midwest Pale Ale and added floral, juicy Citra hops.
Raised Grain Brewing Co. – Oranje Juicy IIPA 7.8%
Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops add big, juicy bursts of fruit flavor to this irresistible, triple dry-hopped “biermosa but without the O.J.” from our friends in Waukesha. Finally, an IPA that’s not bitter about everything.
The Fermentorium – Blushing Aura English Mild Ale 4.2%
A sessionable, fruity homage to the “British Mild,” which is Brit-speak for “not aged.” This young, fresh buck of a bier is packed with intense flavor and brewed with rooibos, hibiscus, currants, rose hips, elderberries and cranberries!
Black Husky Brewing – Tripel Dog Elite 8.2%
This all-American take on a Belgian staple is spicy to some, and fruity to others—a subjective interpretation that showcases the “Craft”-y differences between Old World and New. This “husky” tripel is light-bodied and deceptively drinkable! (See Server for more information/dates regarding our barrel-aged version!)
BROUWERIJ VAN STEENBERGE
Biers brewed in Belgium exclusively for the Lowlands Brewing Collaborative.
High Speed Wit 5%
A robust and round witbier with flavors of orange, lemon and yeast and a touch of cinnamon and an almost earthy, nutty element. Has a bit of creaminess and just the right amount of zing.
Tandem Dubbel 7%
Pours a rich chocolate brown with fine carbonation and flavors of malt, tart raisins, plums, cocoa, and caramel. Warms in the end, finishing creamy and rich.
