Hollander Tosa is Back!

Grand Reopening Celebration Kicks Off Friday, September 26 at 4pm
After nearly two months of hammers, hard hats, and heart, Café Hollander Wauwatosa is finally reopening its doors this Friday, September 26, at 4:00pm. And trust us—you’re going to want to be here when the party starts.
If you’ve been missing your weekend brunches, patio biers, and cozy dinners in the Village, the wait is officially over. The flooding back in August was a gut-punch to both Milwaukee and Tosa, but the Hollander crew (and so many partners, vendors, friends, and neighbors) has pulled off what might just be the fastest full kitchen remodel in history.
Here’s what you can expect when you walk back in:
- Completely rebuilt kitchen—ready to turn out brunch, lunch, and dinner with even more efficiency.
- Refinished flooring on both levels (yes, she’s glowing).
- Freshened-up restrooms—because who doesn’t love a glow-up?
- The bar, polished to perfection—all shined up and waiting for your first pint back.
It’s the Hollander you know and love, with just enough fresh sparkle to make you do a double-take.
Opening Night: Friday, September 26
We’re making our grand return with a full night of fun:
- Doors open at 4:00!
- First 50 guests get a door prize.
- Golden glass hunt begins at time of opening—locate a golden goblet, point it out to your bartender or server, and win a free bier!
- Complimentary toast on the patio at 6:00.
- Live music starts at 6:30.
- Spend $50, get a scratch-off, win big!

Sips for a Cause
This reopening isn’t just about Hollander—it’s about giving back to the community that’s lifted us up these last two months. From Sept. 26 through Oct. 3, $1 from every Lowlands Brewing Collaborative bier and every signature bloody mary sold will be donated to Milwaukee Rep, which suffered devastating flood losses upwards of $5 million.
So yes—your first High Speed Wit back at Hollander doubles as a donation to local arts. That’s what we call a win-win.
Other LBC biers include: Hollander IPA, High Pilsner, Tandem Dubbel, Theresa Tripel, Centraal Quadder, Lanterne Rouge, Zon Saison Grand Cru.

Back to Normal Hours
Starting Friday, Hollander Tosa will be back to its regular schedule:
- Sunday–Thursday: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 8 a.m.–11 p.m.
Just in time for Oktoberfest biers on draught and new fall menu items that are right around the corner.
After nearly two months without Hollander, we can’t wait to raise a glass with you. Mark your calendars, bring your friends, and get ready—Tosa’s favorite gathering spot is back, and she’s better than ever.
