Our story started with Café Hollander back in 2007 on Milwaukee’s historic Downer Ave. Our first Grand Café came to be after many trips to the Lowlands region of Europe. Inspired by the great Grand Cafés and our love of all things bicycling, Belgian biers, mussels, and frites. Café Hollander integrates the region’s rich culture and “neighborhood place” to meet with over espresso, a snack, a meal, a strong ale, a bottle of wine or bubbles, and bloodies—day after day.
Centraal Grand Café & Tappery
Traveling by train is one of the best ways to experience the truly energetic and vibrant melting pot of Europe. Inspired by the Centraal Station in Amsterdam and the Grand Cafès surrounding it, travel vicariously through your food and drink as the Centraal Grand Café & Tappery menu features a unique array of influences inspired by Amsterdam’s food culture – from traditional street foods to global favorites and classic cafè fare.
An urban grand café inspired by the “Benelux” region of Europe: BElgium, the NEtherlands, and LUxembourg. Located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, Café Benelux is recognized for it’s landmark rooftop patio and carefully-crafted food, bier, and cocktail menus.
