Happy holidays from fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-Lowlands! We’re celebrating the holiday season with exciting new additions to our Winter Experiences, extra days of brunch, holiday concerts, wintry cocktails, and more! Be sure to join our newsletter for the latest.

Winter Experiences Launch – Monday, November 25

Eat, drink, and be merry with your nearest and dearest! Our domes, globes, igloos, and shanties are making a comeback, but this year bigger and better than ever with exclusive, buzz-worthy cocktail offerings and tantalizing food packages. Explore our cold-weather al fresco dining options and make a reservation here.

Thanksgiving – CLOSED

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow our staff much-deserved time with their family and friends.

Black Friday Brunch – Friday, November 29

Shopping spree got you beat? Rest up and refuel with brunch at your favorite Lowlands Group restaurant on Black Friday!

Brunch with Santa at Café Hollander Brookfield – Saturday, December 7

Grab the kiddos and their wish lists, and join us for Brunch with Santa from 8am-2pm! Seats do fill up fast, so we recommend making a reservation ahead of time or getting there early to beat the rush.

Santa Cycle Rampage – Saturday, December 7

Nothing says holiday spirit quite like hundreds of Santas cruising around Milwaukee on bicycles. Wisconsin Bike Fed’s Santa Cycle Rampage is back! Café Hollander on Downer Ave will be serving up brunch and bier all morning (we’ll have plenty of Santa Rampage on draught). Bike parking, street parking, and a place to rest your legs will fill up quickly, so best to get here first thing in the morning to secure your spot before the ride. Hollander is also a midway point for the ride, so if you’re feeling up to it, pedal on over to join in on the fun! You can learn more and register for the ride here.

Elf Frenzy Ride – Saturday, December 7

This one’s for the littlest elves in your life! 🚴 This year Wisconsin Bike Fed is hosting its second annual Elf Frenzy ride; a family-friendly cruise that will take off shortly after all of the Santas take off for the Santa Rampage ride. The Elf Frenzy will finish at Centraal Grand Cafe & Tappery, where riders can park their bikes and warm up in the heated courtyard tent. A complimentary, kid-friendly buffet will be available, as well as a build-your-own hot cocoa station! Bundle up, come on out, and mix ‘n mingle with us!

Brunch with Santa at Café Hollander Mequon – Sunday, December 8

Ho-ho-hope you grabbed your wish list! Santa Claus is comin’ to Mequon on Sunday, December 8. Kiddos can brunch with Santa from 10am-2pm. We recommend arriving early, as tables will fill up quickly!

Merry & Bright Brunch at Café Centraal – Sunday, December 8

What’s better than Sunday brunch? Sunday brunch surrounded by the magic of the holidays. Join musician Katy Ambrose in our first ever Merry & Bright Brunch, where she’ll be performing holiday classics from 11am-1pm.

Tosa Village Holiday Train – Sunday, December 8

The night we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! 🚂 The Holiday Train is making its stop in Wauwatosa Village at 4:15pm, and we’re ready to bring the heat and the party. This celebration is extra close to our hearts this year because it marks the day of our sweet Stella’s passing in 2017. To honor her life and to make our impact even bigger this year, we’ll be collecting additional toys for Stella’s Toy Drive. Every toy donated during the event will be met with a free hot cocoa and a homemade cookie, redeemable from 3-6pm at either Café Hollander or Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club. Our goal is to raise over 750 toys to donate to Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospital. Anything more than that will be donated to other local organizations via Kapco’s Kids2Kids Toy Drive.

The fun doesn’t stop there: we’ll be serving adult and kid-friendly sips and eats, and Kapco’s Kids2Kids Toy Drive will be bringing some surprise friends to the event that kids are sure to love. We’ll give you a hint: 🐻‍❄️❄️📍. Grab your kiddos and their mittens and get ready to ring in the holiday season with a fantastic show!

Merry & Bright Brunch at Café Hollander Brookfield – Saturday, December 14

Enjoy the familiar feeling that those classic holiday songs bring with brunch and live music from Katy Ambrose. Katy will be performing your favorite holiday tunes from 11am-1pm. There’s no better way to ease into the busiest time of year.

Holiday Rarities Bierklasse – Wednesday, December 18

Deck the halls with hops and barley! Our Holiday Bierklasse is coming back to Centraal Grand Café & Tappery. Tickets are $55, seats are limited, and we’ve got some special surprises up our sleeve that you won’t want to miss. Tickets make a great gift for that especially-hard-to-shop-for person in your life. Merry & Bright Brunch at Café Hollander Mequon – Saturday, December 21

Katy Ambrose will be back at Café Hollander – Mequon from 11am-1pm for our final Merry & Bright Brunch of the season. Soak in the holiday magic ahead of another cheerful Christmas.

Café Benelux’s 8 Days of Brunch – Christmas Even through New Year’s Day

We know how hard it is to pass up brunch at Benelux. That’s why we’ve decided to close out the year with eight days in a row of our famous brunch! Brunch will be served from 8am-2pm December 24th through January 1st.

Christmas Eve Brunch – Tuesday, December 24

All Lowlands Group restaurants will be serving brunch on Christmas Eve, and will close at 3pm. Give your oven a rest and let us do the cooking before your holiday hosting begins!

Christmas Day – Wednesday, December 25

All Lowlands Group restaurants will be CLOSED on Christmas Day to allow our staff some well-deserved time with their families.

Boxing Day Brunch – Thursday, December 26

The leftovers can wait. Let us take care of “the day after” with delicious brunches at all Café Hollander locations, Café Benelux & Centraal Grand Café & Tappery from 8am-2pm. Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club will serve brunch from 9am-3pm.

New Year’s Eve Brunch – Tuesday, December 31

Another whirlwind of a year come and gone. Ring in 2025 at your favorite Lowlands Group restaurant. We know you’ve been busy shopping, planning, prepping, wrapping, cooking, and cleaning this month, so kick back and enjoy brunch with us!

New Year’s Day Brunch – Wednesday, January 1

Start the new year off with something delicious. We will be celebrating New Year’s Day with brunch at all of our restaurants. See our exclusive menu items for each restaurant below. The full brunch menus will still be available to order from!
