The Republican National Convention is on its way to Milwaukee in July 2024 and Lowlands Group has your event planning, visiting, and hosting needs covered.
Almost all Lowlands Group restaurants are conveniently positioned within a 16-mile radius from the Fiserv Forum, with the exception being our Café Hollander – Madison location. Perhaps most importantly, each one of our locations offers amazingly flexible and equally as delectable food and drink options: a variety of serving styles, customizable menus, craft cocktails, and worldly biers on draught. If your organization is coming to town, plan ahead and book your events, large group reservations, and catering orders with a Lowlands Group restaurant.
Lowlands Group Headquarters
0.5 mile/2 minutes to Fiserv Forum | 1421 N. Water St. | Milwaukee
Our Lowlands Group headquarters are within walking distance of Milwaukee’s Deer District and the Fiserv Forum, located at the cross-section of N. Water St and E. Cherry St. This space has an open-air, industrial feel and features cream city brick, a large riverside patio, and 25-foot ceilings. We recognize the importance of parking for out of town travelers, which is why we offer a completely private, gated parking lot. With room for a full bar, lounge area, and A/V capabilities (including a large projector!), this venue might just be the crown jewel of your RNC visit.

Café Benelux
1 mile/5 minutes to Fiserv Forum | 346 N. Broadway | Milwaukee
Café Benelux is a hot commodity for locals and tourists alike, especially in the heat of a Wisconsin summer. With an expansive rooftop patio that overlooks Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward and an open concept bar and restaurant inside, you and your crew have options. Café Benelux will be completing major renovations early this spring. The interior is getting a whole new look and feel with a completely reimagined and luxurious bar, as well as additional booth seating. In addition to the rooftop patio, there is also a covered first floor patio that sits along Milwaukee’s energetic Broadway Avenue. Don’t miss the opportunity to book your event here; reservations are filling up quickly!

Café Hollander – Downer Ave.

Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Upper East Side and blocks from Lake Michigan, this Café Hollander location is supreme. It is a historic cornerstone venue with unique outdoor dining options, from a large patio to a quintessential European parklet, and an equally as charming interior. On the main floor you’ll find a wraparound bar with ample seating and views of bustling Downer Avenue. The second floor offers a totally private, window-lined space to host your event, with exposed cream city brick and room for up to 40-50 guests.

Centraal Grand Café & Tappery

If you’re looking for unique and centrally located, you’ve come to the right place. Centraal Grand Café & Tappery (commonly known as Centraal) has multiple private event spaces to choose from. During the summer months, host your event in the Garden of Eten courtyard. Lush, ivy-covered walls surround the courtyard, which can comfortably fit 60-70 guests. Throwing a bigger party than that? Open up the garage doors to our Galleria Room to expand your space. Inside you’ll find Milwaukee’s longest bar (coming in at a whopping 81 feet!) with over 45 worldly biers on tap.

Café Hollander – Wauwatosa Village

This Café Hollander location is nestled into the historic and charming Tosa Village and offers an expansive, private second floor with views of the Menomonee River and downtown Wauwatosa. Natural lighting, greenery-covered ceilings, and brightly painted walls make this space exceptionally cheery. Whether you’re hosting a small group or a large-scale event, the second floor layout is completely customizable, making it the perfect space to gather. In addition to the second floor, there is also a sun-drenched patio that sits conveniently in the middle of the village and faces another Lowlands restaurant, Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club.

Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club – Wauwatosa Village

If you’re from out of town and seeking a true Wisconsin dining experience, book Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club for your next event. Find lodge comfort and supper club sophistication in a space that overlooks the Menomonee River right in the heart of Wauwatosa Village. Our private second floor can comfortably seat 40-50 guests and comes with a large projector, which makes it the perfect space for corporate outings, game days, and rehearsal dinners alike. Our first floor dining room is great for slightly smaller groups, with room for 20-30 people; and last, but certainly not least, our State Street patio offers a cozy outdoor gathering space for those who want to enjoy some summer sunshine.

Café Hollander – Brookfield

The Corners of Brookfield shopping center has a lot to offer visitors, but the largest event space can be found right here at Café Hollander. A sprawling second floor dining room and two second floor patios offer great flexibility for large parties. Ample windows provide ample natural light, creating a bright and breathable event space. Our second floor Four Seasons room is just that: available year-round with the ability to open garage doors and windows to the adjacent loft room and outdoors. All private event spaces at Café Hollander – Brookfield are wheelchair accessible.

Café Hollander – Mequon
16 miles/27 minutes to Fiserv Forum | 5900 W Mequon Rd. | Mequon
Our northern-most location is Café Hollander – Mequon. This location boasts four unique private event spaces: the second floor loft, first floor atrium, first floor patio, and rooftop patio. Natural light is this Hollander’s middle name. Lined with windows, each space is brightly lit and airy. The second floor loft can comfortably fit up to 80 guests, is wheelchair accessible, has A/V capabilities, and garage doors that can open up in the warmer months to provide an open-air experience. Find rich woodwork, vibrant decor, and lush greenery throughout.

Lowlands Group is quickly becoming Milwaukee’s preferred caterer. All Lowlands restaurants now offer catering services with delivery available! To qualify for catering delivery, there is a minimum spend of $1,000. Book your 2024 catering and receive a complimentary platter of our fan-favorite brownie bites. (That’s enough brownie bites to make chocolate lovers exceptionally happy.) If you are located in the area, you can also place large group orders for pick-up at your favorite Lowlands spot: Benelux, Centraal, Hollander, or Buckatabon!
