3rd Annual Stella’s Toy Drive
Stella’s Toy Drive is back for its third year, and we’ve set the bar higher than ever. All we need is YOU!
A little background: A dear member of the Lowlands family, Tracy Broekman, brought little Stella Mae into this world in 2017. Stella passed away due to complications at just six months old. Tracy, Stella, and their family spent countless hours at Children’s Hospital during this time. To honor Stella’s life–and support all of the other families seeking care, treatment, and support from Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House–we’re partnering with businesses in Tosa Village and across the Greater Milwaukee Area to make the holidays as magical and stress-free for these families as possible.
With its proximity to Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, Wauwatosa Village is the heart of Stella’s Toy Drive. This year, we’re expanding our reach with the help of friends and neighbors in and beyond Tosa. Find toy boxes at more than 15 local businesses, with more being added throughout the season. The Celebration Continues: Mark Your Calendars for December 10!
Wauwatosa Holiday Train
- Stella’s Toy Drive will conclude the night of December 10, when The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train makes its stop in The Village of Wauwatosa.
- Bring a toy to the event and get a homemade cookie!
- Kiddos are going to have a blast hanging out with us outside of Buckatabon and Café Hollander, catching the live performance of the train, eating cookies, and slurping up hot cocoa!
Wrapping it up…
The last day to donate is Monday, December 15. We have to give the elves and holiday helpers time to wrap thousands of presents for the kids, teens, and families at Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospital.
